Carolyn Castleberry is the author of an expanding series of personal finance books for women and co-host (along with Terry Meeuwsen and Louise DuArt) of the popular daytime cable show Living The Life, produced by Christian Broadcasting Network and aired on ABC’s Family Channel and other outlets around the globe. Previously, Castleberry served for 17 years as a secular award-winning news reporter and anchor in Virginia (with NBC affiliate WAVY TV) and Colorado (with CBS affiliate KKTV). She has also been recognized by the American Women in Radio and Television for her efforts in founding the first national radio talk show for female executives on the Business Radio Network. Castleberry also helped conceptualize award-winning children's programming for NASA, which aired nationally on PBS, The NASA Sci Files.
Castleberry is the author of Women, Take Charge of Your Money—A Biblical Path To Financial Security (May 2006) and Women, Get Answers About Your Money—Because There Are No Dumb Questions About Personal Finance (December 2006). Both books are published by Multnomah owned by Random House, Inc.
A successful real estate investor, Castleberry has completed extensive education in real estate practices including law, appraisal, and financing. She holds three degrees—two Bachelor of Science degrees in business and journalism from the University of Colorado and a Master of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary.
She lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband and three children, including two daughters and a stepson who currently plays basketball for Virginia Military Institute. |
